Salman Khan is a legendary Indian movie actor, occasional singer, film producer and a famous television personality. He was born in Indore, India on 27^th December, 1965. He is the son of a fabulous writer Salim Khan, who confined a number of super hits in the past years like Deewaar, Sholay and Don. In 1988, Salman Khan initiated his acting carrier by appearing in a supporting role with the movie Biwi Ho To Aisi. In the same year, he had the prominent role in Indian box office romantic super hit Maine Pyar Kiy from where he became a darling personality of Indian cinema.

Succeeding with other box office mega hits he showed his stunning performance in the movies Andaz Apna Apna, Saajan, Karan Arjun, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Khamoshi: The Musical. His makeovers can be vulnerable, sensitive, aggressive, charming and funny as his character demands.

In the year 1998, Salman Khan was arrested by police from the shooting site of the movie Hum Saath-Saath Hain, for hunting a protected wild animal and spent around a week behind bars. 1. Hit and run case: In 2002, Khan was involved in a hit and run case in which his car ran over a group of people sleeping on the pavement, killing one and injuring four others. He was later convicted of reckless and negligent driving and sentenced to five years in prison, although he was later acquitted on appeal.
2. Blackbuck poaching case: In 1998, Khan was accused of poaching blackbucks (a species of antelope) while shooting for a film in Rajasthan. He was later convicted and sentenced to five years in prison, although he was later released on bail.
3. Domestic violence: Khan has also been accused of domestic violence by his former girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
4. Rape comment: In 2016, Khan faced criticism for making a comment that seemed to suggest that he felt like he had been raped while filming a grueling movie schedule. He later apologized for the comment.
5. COVID-19 vaccine controversy: In 2021, Khan faced backlash for saying that he did not believe in vaccines and that he would not get vaccinated against COVID-19.
